Merging two projects

You can create a New Project and within the new project you can go to Project>Merge. Browse and select "Project A". Once "Project A" is merged go to Project>Merge and select "Project B".


In Details:

Let’s says there are two PTW32 projects, (Project_A and Project_B), that we want to merge together into another project (Project_C).
  • Create a new project name Project_C
  • While in Project_C, click the Project>Merge.. command. The” Merge PTW” dialog box appears.

  • Click the “Browse” button, and navigate to find Project_A and double-click on it.
  • The project path and file name will then appear on the merge text block.

  • Click on the “Merge” buttom
  • If merge is successful, a “Merge process was successful..” window will appear similar to the one below.

  • At this point, all the “Project_A” information is now in “Project_C”.
  • Repeat step 2 to step 5 for “Project_B”
  • If merge is successful, a “Merge process was successful..” window will appear similar to the one below.

  • At this point, all the “Project_B” information is now in “Project_C” as well.
    In “Project_C”, if you click on the Document>One-line.. command, you will see a list of the one-line drawings from “Project_A” and Project_B”.
    In “Project_C”, if you click on the Document>TCC.. command, you will see a list of the TCC drawings from “Project_A” and Project_B”.
    In “Project_C”, if you click on the Document>Component Editor.. command, you will see a list of the components from “Project_A” and Project_B”.
