Which transformer connection types does not produce SLG fault current?
Description
The connection type that will not produce SLG fault current has an open circuit for the zero-sequence connection:
delta-wye
delta-delta
wye-wye
wye-wyeG
For reference on XFMR connections that does not have SLG fault current, please refer to the powerpoint on slides 6 and 8.
Note: For wye-wyeG, no SLG current for Shell Type construction. Core construction type will have a SLG fault current. See slide 7 for the zero sequence circuit.
