What is the “Arc Flash Special Instantaneous Protection” field for the Bus component on the Equipment & Arc Flash subview?
Bus Differential protection, or any type of special bus protection such as zone interlocking, optical sensors, etc., can be represented by entering a Protection Category description for the Bus and checking the "Available" check box.
The trip time is entered directly in the Arc Flash table.
If special protection is not defined for the bus, the traditional time-over current protection method is used.
