Printed Files Showing Blank or Black Image Instead of Desired Picture

There currently an issue with the latest Windows updates in March 2021 that users have reported various printing issues such as BSOD, syskey errors, and with our software, printing causing picture files to show up as either black or blank spaces. **UPDATE 3/22/2021**
Microsoft has released a fix for this issue with their latest update. 

After the release of the March 2021 Windows 10 KB5000802 and KB5000808 cumulative updates, users began experiencing "APC_INDEX_MISMATCH for win32kfull.sys" BSOD crashes when printing. Other users experienced different issues, such as blank pages, black bars in printouts, and background graphics not printing.

To fix the remaining issues, Microsoft released a second OOB emergency update on March 18th, known as KB5001649


To update your windows, go to your Windows Update settings:

Click on the Check for updates and/or View optional updates link and update your system with the KB5001649 update:



If you are not able to find the latest updates, you can download and install the Windows Update helper here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Once updated to the latest windows builds, you're printing issues should be resolved. 



**If installing the latest windows update KB5001649 does not resolve the issue, please try the following**
In order to resolve this issue, you will have to uninstall the 'KB500802 and/or KB500808' updates as those are the updates that are causing the various printing issues within the Windows operating systems. 
To uninstall these updates, go to your Control Panel and click on the 'Uninstall a program'

Once in the 'Uninstall a program' section, click on the 'View installed updates' link:

There you will find an 'Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5000802/KB5000808):

Right click on the field and click the 'Uninstall' button:

The process can take a few minutes. After uninstalling it, it will prompt you to restart your computer. After the computer is restarted, your print for forms and custom labels will be back to normal.
