VFD Rated Current is less than its loading
Issue: When running a load flow study with VFDs, I am getting this warning: "VFD Rated Current is less than its loading"
Solution: Rated current of VFD and Motors are calculated using this equation:
I = HPx746 / (1.73 x V x Eff x PF)
Increase your VFD size if its rated current is less than the motor rated current. Make sure to run the Demand Load study first before running Load Flow.
