# Modeling of Grounding XFMR

There are several options on how to model a grounding transformer. Please see the options below.

Option #1: Where the neutral impedance is placed on the neutral of transformer “XF2-1”.

Option #2: Where the neutral impedance is placed on the neutral of transformer “XF2-3”.

Option #3: Where transformer “XF2-5” is set as Delta\Delta, and the neutral impedance is placed on the grounded resistor, keeping in mind that the impedance of the grounded resistor would have to be three times the impedance that would have been place in the neutral of the transformers in the previous two options.
