How to Link Crystal Report 2016 to PTW Database
1) Make sure PTW program is closed.
2) Run “odbcad32.exe” from the search bar if you are using Windows 10. The actual location is in C:\Windows\SysWOW64\odbcad32.exe. Make sure you run the 32-bit application and not the 64-bit.
3) This will open ODBC Data Source Administrator (32-bit). Under User DSN, select PTW_PRJ and click on Configure…
4) Configure the POET Driver Setup with the information below:
5) Click OK on POET Driver Setup and click OK on ODBC Data Source Administrator (32-bit).
6) Open Crystal Report 16 and create a new report or open an existing report. Go to Database menu and select Database Expert so you can create a New Connection. When making the connection to the ODBC, you don’t need a User ID or Password. Click on Finish.
